Gili Trawangan Island is a fantastic vacation destination, and an island paradise which is relaxed and laid back except for the nightlife, which is excellent. Snorkeling and scuba diving, as well as sun bathing and exploring this tropical setting, make it an excellent spot for a honeymoon or vacation trip. You can stay in one of the Lombok Island hotels and take a boat to the island just for the day. Another option is to rent one of the Gili Trawangan bungalows and stay on the island for a few days or longer. Motor vehicles are not permitted, but horse drawn vehicles and bicycles are readily available. Beautiful white sandy beaches and crystal turquoise water make this island a special spot for many visitors.
