3 Day Cruise To MexicoReady for your 3-day cruise to Mexico, but not sure where you want to go? Let’s face it, 3 days may not be that long, but you can do a lot if you make the right plans. Before you decide, however, you need to know what each area has to offer, or it’s even possible. Then you can choose according to your needs.

A 3-day cruise to Mexico will always include at least one day at sea. You should prepare yourself for this because many think two of the three days will be in Mexico and this simply is not the case. In fact, it’s the complete opposite.

Think about it, if it takes one day to get there, it’ll take one day to get back and you will be departing on the third day. Make sense? So, do you cruise to Coszumel or take your trip in Baja? Let’s say it depends. Take a look at the difference between the two and then you should be able to make up your mind, lickety-split.

3-day cruise to Mexico – Cozumel – The great thing about Cozumel is the sun and shopping in San Miguel. Until pretty recently, many cruises to Mexico from Florida, specifically Cozumel were only available if you departed from Ft. Lauderdale or Miami. Fortunately, this is no longer the case.

Today, you can find several last minute cruises from Tampa that are quite reasonable in price. This has really opened up tourism in Cozumel. Now, in addition to shopping and lying on the beach, millions travel here to swim with the marine life, like dolphins, sea lions and manatees.

3-day cruise to Mexico – Baja – Finding a 3-day cruise to Baja, departing from Tampa is a little tricky. While there are a lot of cheap cruises from Tampa, Baja doesn’t seem to be high on the list. In fact, if you wanted to cruise to Baja from Tampa, you might need to extend your trip by a few more days.

This is an unfortunate reality but something that you need to understand, lest your feelings get hurt when you contact your travel agent. Apparently, 3-day cruises are harder to book from Tampa and this is why the availability is so limited. If you can manage to add a few more days, you shouldn’t have any problems.
